The Portrait Making Process

Every part of our portrait making process is designed to make your life easier so that you have had a great experience and images that you love. Here is a breakdown of what each step of the experience with Babies and Beauties looks like:

Phone Call and Consultation

The best way to have a great photo session is to plan ahead. And the best way to end up with images you adore is to help your photographer understand what makes your heart sing and what you love. The consultation is designed to do just that. We will discuss everything from your home’s décor to our product line. Help me understand what products you are interested in. I will guide you in your wardrobe choices and what will look best. You will feel fully prepared for your session. The consultation will set the tone and paint a vision of what you want.

Session

We strive to make each session a realization of your vision. In our comfortable studio you will have drinks, snacks and a relaxing atmosphere to wait while we photograph your newborn or to take out a couple minutes during set changes to hang out with the kids. If we are on location, we will make every effort for a seamless day so that we can make the most of our time together and create beautiful memories to go with the images we make.

Ordering Appointment

The ordering appointment is set aside to view your images for the first time and choose how you will display them. You will choose your products with the help of our state of the art software that will show you, to scale, what the images will look like in your home. You heard that right! All you need to do is snap a few photos of the walls in your home where you are considering hanging your portraits, and we will be able to show you exactly what it will look like as a finished product. All orders will be placed at the ordering appointment so be sure that all decision makers are present.

Delivery and Installation

We know you are busy! What good is ordering a beautiful collection of framed prints for your living room if it takes you forever to hang them up? Let us take care of that. All wall art will be delivered to your home and installed for you so that hanging those canvases doesn’t get stuck on the ‘honey do’ list. We will take care of it for you!
