Our journey begins with getting to know you and your family. In our initial conversation, we dive into your vision and desires for the images.

Step 1: The Phone Call

Our next step is the Design Consultation, where we connect deeper to fine-tune your session. 

Taking place in your home, at a local café around San Diego, or virtually via Zoom, this meeting is all about getting to the heart of your preferences. We'll present a range of artwork samples, discuss styles and options that resonate with your family. 

Don’t worry about what to wear for your family photos, our style guidance will take care of this part for you. This careful planning ensures a smooth, stress-free session day, tailored just for you.

Step 2: custom Design Consultation

Whether it's a toddler’s last-minute aversion to shoes or a newborn's sudden naptime, we're equipped to handle it. Our primary aim on the day of the shoot is to keep things light, flexible, and stress-free. We focus on capturing the natural dynamics of your family, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere where authentic moments can shine.

Because of all the work we’ve done before, the day of our session will be a great experience and one you’ll feel confident going into.

Step 3: Photo Session Day

Pop the bubbly! Celebrate your photography success with a special reveal.

Approximately a week later, join us for a sparkling toast as we present your images, either at our studio or your home. I'll guide you in selecting the perfect shots for albums, wall art, and custom pieces. I can even show you what they'll look like on your own walls.This step is important for finalizing your portrait order, so ensure all decision-makers are present. It's the moment to choose and cherish your family's captured memories.

Step 4: The Reveal Celebration

After meticulous quality checks, your art pieces are ready. For local to the San Diego and Temecula area, we offer a unique service - home installation of your wall art. This ensures your new artwork of your family is not just another task on the to-do list but is professionally and beautifully displayed in your home.

What happens at the pre-session consultation?

The pre-session consultation is a key step to personalize your portrait experience. This meeting is where we delve into understanding your preferences and style. We'll explore product options, discuss your desired image display, and go over clothing choices. It's also an opportunity for you to share what aspects of our style attracted you to us. This ensures we craft portraits you'll love. By the time your session day arrives, a well-planned, stress-free experience awaits, aligning with our goal as a premier San Diego Portrait Photography service.

When do I get to see the images?

You will get to see your images in a slideshow set to music during your Ordering Appointment 1-2 weeks after your session. We will help guide you through narrowing down your favorite images and choosing the products and wall art that we will custom designed just for you. We can even show you what your images will look like right on your wall!

Can I bring my kids to the ordering appointment?

We prefer for just the adults to attend the ordering appointment because it is the time for us to review your portraits and choose and design all of your products and wall art. We suggest to arrange for childcare or we can schedule your ordering appointment while your kids are in school.

When do I get to bring everything home?

We carefully create and order your heirloom quality products, so please allow 6-8 weeks from your order date for completion of your order. Custom designed albums and orders with framing may take longer. But we promise it will be worth it!
