Hi, I’m Cathee!

I love traveling, Southern California sunsets and COFFEE!!

I’ve loved photography all my life but found a passion for creating printed artwork for my clients. My grandmother hated having her photo taken so we have very few photos of her.

That’s why I help my clients create heirlooms for their homes without the stress…so that every time they look through an album or see a canvas hanging on the wall, they can re-live the time, the place and the moments spent with those they love the MOST.

I heard about Babies & Beauties through a friend. Cathee was very friendly and professional in our consultation. I was impressed by her previous work and by all she had to offer. Cathee did the newborn photos for my son, who was born in August 2016. My husband and I absolutely loved the photos. They were so beautiful that we called her again when our daughter was born in February 2021.
Cathee is a natural with babies. She was so patient with our son, who had colic, and our daughter, who hated being unwrapped/cold! I’m kind of amazed that she was able to get any good photos at all! But there were so many gorgeous photos, I had a really hard time deciding which to print and use for my baby announcements!
I’m so grateful to Babies & Beauties for capturing this special time in our lives and for providing these keepsakes to help us remember a time that is so short and so precious. Cathee is a dream to work with. The way she soothes and calms the babies, even as little as one and two weeks, is just magical. The photography is soft, elegant, sweet – everything you want your baby photos to be. And she listened when I wanted some less conventional accessories for my little girl (a bit less pink than maybe is usual). I love my photos of my babies, and so do my girls who are almost 2 and 5 now. We get to enjoy them daily, and we’re saving space on the wall for Cathee’s photos of our future little ones.

Love, Love, LOVE our new family photos! The entire experience, from start to finish was amazing! When we arrived for our photoshoot, Cathee had all her equipment set up in a nice, semi-secluded area of the park (where we didn’t need to worry about people walking through) and she was ready to go. She had planned out the order in which the photos would be taken, so our grandchildren would be more likely to cooperate (very smart!). She even brought enough waters and bug repellant for everyone, so everything would go as smoothly as possible. When the proofs were ready, we joined her on a video meeting where she shared her screen and showed us what the photos would look like on the actual wall where we’d planned to display them (she had a picture of the blank wall with an 8½x11” paper taped to it for scale). Once the layout was approved, she ordered the prints for us in the sizes represented on the screen (awesome technology, by the way!) and I ordered all the frames. We couldn’t be more pleased with the level of service provided and the end results! Thank you again, Cathee! Our family photo wall is up-to-date and looks great!
