I have been photographing for 18 years and am still struck with such a strong sense of joy when I look at the memories I capture. Photography became extremely important to me in 2002, when I lost my grandmother. She hated having her picture taken (as many women do) and we have so few photographs of her. I don’t want other people to miss documenting the precious moments and people in their lives. Grandparents pass on, babies grow and time passes all too quickly. What is left then? Memories fade so easily but a photograph lasts for a lifetime.
This is the reason I am so passionate about the quality of the wall art and albums that I produce for my clients: heirloom quality prints and canvases that will be seen every day and beautiful albums that the kids will spend hours admiring as they grow. The experience of having a family portrait taken or photos of a new addition to the family…these are the reasons I get out of bed in the morning and why I continue to dedicate my life to preserving memories.
